Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Job Duties: Preselect qualified job applicants for logistic resourcing to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate; Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with logistic company requirements; Manage onboarding, offboarding, personnel records, and ensure compliance with multi-state law, federal laws, labor law, immigration law, remaining abreast of changing regulations requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); Guide new hire employees to operate logistic Mysoft Data system and Paylocity software; Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs for company’s logistics and freight forwarding business; Coordinate and prepare logistics training sessions, including foundation in Incoterms, introduction to the importing/exporting environment and methods of moving goods into a foreign market, Import & Export documentation, and applicable US and International transportation and customs regulations and laws; Maintain employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, pension (401K) and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs to management; responsible for the processing of benefit claims; obtain and evaluate benefit contract bids; award benefit contracts; design and conduct educational programs on benefit programs; Ensure that all terminated employees are removed from plans in a timely manner; Coordinate the delivery of COBRA packages through insurance carrier; Administer worker's compensation processes to include claims processing, employee communication, and liaison with worker's compensation vendor, local safety initiatives and required compliance reporting; Create and Maintain all employee profile, track time and attendance data precisely, run time card report and monitor employees’ working hours to comply with Affordable Care Act (ACA) using Paylocity software; Plan, monitor, and appraise employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; conduct hearings and resolve employee grievances; counsel employees and supervisors. 

Job Requirements: Requires Master’s degree and 6 months of experience in above job duties.
